Why do you play?
That's a tough question to answer...I'd have to say the reason I play is because I enjoy the game..I don't think you should play unless you are having fun.
Why are you a goalie?
When you play goalie you are always on the field and always a part of the action.
How important is the goalie position?
I think every position is important but i think goalie is the toughest mentally.
Any advice for aspiring goalies?
Don't be afraid to let in a goal, Don't think too much, and have fun!
Quote regarding the goalie position
Analyzation creates paralyzation.

There is a reason that Tony Russo is the GWLL Player of the Year. Ohio State would not have represented the GWLL in the NCAA's without Tony Russo in the nets. He is a steady presence in the cage who allows us to be in every game we play. Tony won us a few games this season by coming up big in big games. He is winner with a true head for the goal. He makes the saves we expect him to make and makes some saves he has no business making. He has helped elevate this program to the next level this season. We can't wait to see him perform next season with one more year of experience under his belt.
