Why do
you play?
I play because I love challenges and that's what lacrosse is for
me. Every day I go out onto the field to challenge myself to be
better and improve. |
Why are
you a goalie?
I am a goalie because I feel that it is a unique position. I feel
that the goalie position holds a certain leadership. You have to
let your defense know where the cutters are and to watch out for
picks. You are their eyes when they cannot see. |
How important
is the goalie position?
It feel that it is very important. A goalie helps keep the morale
of the team. You help out by letting the defense know if a cutter
is open, if they are about to have a pick set on them, or if they
cannot see the field to guide them where to go or pass the ball. |
Any advice
for aspiring goalies?
Always keep your head high, learn from your mistakes, and most importantly
have fun! |
Quote
regarding the goalie position
Don't expect to have success if you don't intend to work hard. In
the end the sweat and bruises are all worth it. |
