Importance of Goalie Position The goal keeping position is obviously one of the most important positions on the field because goals (and keeping them out) determines the outcome of a game. The goal keeper has to be a very poised and confident invidividual since they are the last person in the line of fire. Even if a defense screws up, the goal keeper can still make a save. The goal keeper also has to be a leader. They are ultimately the person in charge of the defense and they can see nearly everything from their position in the cage.

Who's her Goalie, recognized as HOT by Goalie Nation?
