“A former quarterback on the Saint football team and a midfielder on the lacrosse field for St. Lawrence, Mike Mahoney took over the head coaching duties for men's lacrosse in the fall of 1997. Under Mahoney, the Saints experienced immediate success and have continued to excel, winning the ECAC Upstate Tournament championship in each of the last two years.”

Importance of Goalie Position I believe that a team's overall confidence stems from the play of the goaltender. A goalie can sway the momentum of a game with a single big save or conversly giving up a soft goal. He can also cover up some defensive mistakes and at times allow you to play more aggressively due to the confidence in the guy between the pipe. It is the most critical position on the field.
