Why do you play?
I play because I love the excitement of the game.
Why are you a goalie?
Am goalie because I have always enjoyed the position and like being able to change the momentum of a game.
How important is the goalie position?
Goalie position is very important because you are the last line of defense. You are the quarterback of the defense and help tell the guys in front of you what is going on.
Any advice for aspiring goalies?
Keep working hard practicing everyday. Work on areas of your game that you are weak on and realize that you aren't going to make every save. Realize what you did wrong when you let a goal in and then put it past you and save the next one.

Comments from 2003:

Tillman has grown into a strong, confident leader for us. He has always had the ability to make the spectacular save but, now, he also plays at a higher level more of the time. Experience and genuine confidence have given him the maturity to move more easily from one shot to the next. He has become a leader for us in the defensive end and is the catalyst for our transition game. Tillman is a wonderful young man and it is easy to "rally the troops" in front of him.

- Head Coach Dom Starsia
